The purpose of our lunch time group training was to get everyone out from behind their desks and do something different, working with people other than those in their immediate teams.  After a really busy first half of 2013 this was an opportunity to let off some steam and we certainly did that.  The group was very mixed ability and Lia made the session work for everyone.  I had previously been reluctant to do something physical for a team activity as I was concerned that people would get left behind and would not enjoy it.  Our experience could not have been more different.  Everyone worked together and all enjoyed themselves, and it also gave some interesting insights into people’s personalities that we don’t get to see during the day to day routine.
