Breakfast: I’m always in a hurry and rush out the door in the mornings. I can’t start my day without my English breakfast tea… And I usually grab a small portion of my pre-cooked frittata I make over the weekend. Lately I’ve been making a roast vegetable one including broccoli, capsicum & zucchini. The other one I make is leek, spinach and salmon and they’re both delicious and make for an easy and quick breakfast.

Killing it with my step count- great to see how far you've walked in a day.

It monitors your heart rate- monitors your sleep... Pretty cool.

But the really amazing feature the tomtom has; it can tell you your body composition- what percentage your fat & muscle is. This feature has been on scales for a while- pretty amazing to see how technology has developed to experience it from a band & by just placing your index finger...

I attempted to make Donna Hay's Passionfruit & Coconut slice and it was a hit... its very easy and you don't need too many ingredients. Its all natural no preservatives so I thought Id share it... I doubled the passionfruit syrup to cover the whole top of the slice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 CUP (150G) CASHEWS

  • 1 CUP (250ML) COCONUT MILK 

  • ½ CUP (125ML) MELTED COCONUT OIL 

  • ¼ CUP (90G) HONEY

Over the past 10 years as a personal trainer, I have had the opportunity to train all different personalities, different goals, fitness levels, ages & gender.

At the end of the day it comes down to you and your mindset- your body wont go where your mind wont let it. 

A huge setback I've found is someone returning to training after a set back- wether it be a year, a month or even a week with a cold...

Theres that negative mindset of "ohhh Im so unfit" "slow and steady"...

The day was soooo impressive! it was a whole day event introducing a variety of workouts from spin, circuit, dance, boxing to Pilates; any athlete at any fitness level could join in.  

 

I can definitely say I’ve never had a workout experience like it, talk about a high energy environment! NIKE you sure took it to another level…

It kinda felt like I was in Katy Perry's California girls film clip…
